Starbucks: Reload Your Starbucks Card with $25+ using Visa, Get an Extra $5 Added To Your Account

Starbucks announced a promotion on their Twitter feed this morning that may be of interest for those of you who are (slowly but surely) making your way towards Gold level status on your Starbucks cards. Right now, when you use your Visa card to reload your Starbucks cards with $25 or more, you'll get an extra $5 added to your account.

To take part, you will need to reload your card using your Visa card online. This offer is running until February 7, 2012. The $5 credit will be added to your account the week of February 13. There's a limit of one $5 bonus per account.

  Nope, only one per account (although I guess you can create several accounts, but then you'll need several cards).

  that is only available to customers with registered card and STAYED at the location to enjoy their coffee, if you have purchased coffee, left the store and come back you will get charged for the refill

  I think it will only work if you reload an existing Starbucks card.
  
  So buy a SB card with a small amount, register that card, then reload it with $25.

  Good question as I wondered about it too. Instead, on the safe side, turned on computer and reloaded.

  Wrong - no mention of Auto reloading, the only catch is to use VISA
