    • You can't have a Canada Day sale without a sale on bacon.

    • Anyone know if No Frills will price match another store and ALSO apply coupons?

I picked up some Zehrs/Superstore/No Frills/etc specific coupons off the board at the store a couple weeks ago for $3 off 3 boxes of Kellogs and see it's on sale for $2.99 a box in another store's flyer (I think it was Food Basics)

Don't know about NoFrills doing the PM and applying coupons - but they should. I have no problem doing that at SuperStore - it might depend on your cashier - I ususally use the self checkout so I enter the coupons and hand them in before doing my price matching.
Food Basics doesn't have the cereal on sale in my flyer, but Foodland flyer does!

    • I got 3 boxes of the Chapman's "Drumstick" knock-offs for $1 using my $5 Chapman coupon. I actually liked them better than Drumsticks because there was more ice cream and less sugar cone

      2 + 2 + 2 = 6
      6 - 5 = 1

Not trying to be sadistic, just showing you what he meant by $1

    • YEAH! We just had a No Frills open close to where I live. Got rid of that lousy Giant Tiger in the process. Now I don't have to drive so far as they're the best discount grocery store in Edmonchuk.

Got to feel sorry for Giant Tiger though. How can they compete in the "We sell everything but hardware" category? At least No Frill specializes in something and does really well at it.
