Quick note to everyone who orders coupons for family members who do not have their own computer. I know there are quite a few of us that do this for family... A few people have been getting an error message "Only One Participation Allowed" when trying for this freebie and making inquiries on FB about it.
The rules for this freebie item state 1 item per IP address , Per person, per address only. So if you try to get the item using shared IP such as free Wifi/library computer/internet cafe or if you use a friend/family's members computer & they already ordered it themselves then you will get an error message stating "Only One Participation Allowed". My brother tried to order it from my computer after I had ordered it and the system refused him. He lives elsewhere and does not have a computer. So he is apparently out of luck, he complained to them about it too.
My friend just tried to request one using my computer (his address,...) and it said "Only One Participation Allowed"... We then tried another laptop I have and the same msg came up. It definitely logs ur IP address, which is crazy!
If I have a friend who comes over and wants to also sign up, he now has to wait until he gets home or goes to an internet cafe in order to get the promo!
I was waiting to it in BC, but it ended yesterday.
None the less - I love this yogurt! (the plain one).
Seriously though, this is the best way to prevent fraud, if you think about.
Fake emails, tweaked adresses, multiple FB accounts are all pretty easy to do. Changing your IP has a higher degree of difficulty.
Someone complains when someone claims a freebie 50x, someone complains when reasonable measures are put in place to prevent it.
Can't seem to please anybody.
