Well, first of all I would worry more about your grammar, than salt, lol, because huge is spelled as HUGE, not HUGH,,maybe all that salt is having an effect on you..Anyways thanks poster,I will be sure to pick up some of these pizzas as they are the best, and I just love the garlic crust. The day I worry about salt is the day I will quit eating bacon(cancer),eggs(cholestoral),red meat,etc.,etc.,...

    • Funny how there are many posts attacking the guy who pointed out the salt content. Are you college dweebs so high right now that you do not realize how insanely high in salt these gross things actually are? These are fairly small pizzas and I guarantee if you cook one of these you are eating AT LEAST half. At least. That half a smallish pizza is far higher than the average persons recommended salt intake for the entire goddamn day! And I bet if you are eating one of these for dinner, you are not abstaining from any salt with your other two meals during the day so you are likely doubling or tripling your recommended salt intake per day.

And sure, if you were eating one of these every three months it may not be a huge issue, but I doubt that is the case with people who "stock up" on these.

Odd that if this were fat content, people would be in up in arms, but because its just little ol' salt, people think its harmless.

Well, let these "students" enjoy their salt bombs folks and berate the dude for pointing out a fact that many may have overlooked. They say that new generations will be the first to live shorter lives than their predecessors, and the ignorance in this thread speaks volumes to that.

Anyways, with the pensions in the state they are now, better to have fewer people fighting for them in the decades to come. So let us responsible people enjoy the fruits of our labour while these Delissio eaters can fight for the last slice of pepperoni flavoured heart medication.

I would worry more about you being able to distinguish between grammar and spelling mistakes and BTW check the spelling of Cholesterol...

But I'm not a real fan of their pizza's unless its the ultra thin crust version.

      Ditto.

We used to make these pizzas regularly (once a week or so) until I checked the sodium content on different varieties and realized how bad they are. All of the brands seem to be the same - Delisio, McCain Rising Crust, Dr Oetker etc. Now we avoid them like the plague.

Wow. Probably one of the stupidest comments I have read on RFD. We all think that 40% of the pizza's weight is made up of sodium? Get a clue dude. Glad you signed up to post it. If you had NOTHING to eat all day long, other than 3 dinky slices of this processed junk, NOTHING at all. No breakfast, no lunch, no salad with your pizza, no dessert, not even a can of diet cola to wash it down (which can have around 5% of your sodium for the day), then you would have exceeded your daily recommended salt intake by 20%. You should be trying to stay at or below the daily maximum level of sodium, and by eating a tiny fraction of the food one typically consumes in a day, you are surpassing it already. I knew excessive salt intake was bad for your heart, did not realize it was bad for your brain too. Thanks for showing us differently.

    • everything in moderation. eating one of these once in awhile is hardly anything to lose sleep over. it takes years of lipid buildup or stress on your heart to result in typical conditions like chronic hypertension/atherosclerosis/etc. of course ymmv, but generally you'll be fine.

people tend to gravitate to one extreme side or the other when it comes to health, and really they should strive to be in the middle and still enjoy things while keeping the benefits of an overall healthy lifestyle.

First of all an ellipsis has 3 periods not 2. There's no such thing as dot dot. There's dot and there's dot dot dot. There's also no such thing as etc., etc. except when the uninformed think there is. Cetera means "the rest" not just one item in the rest. If the remainder of your list consisted of apples and oranges, you would essentially be saying bacon, eggs, red meat, apples, oranges, apples, and oranges. See how stupid that is? You wouldn't because clearly grammar is not a strength of yours. Were that not the case you would know to leave a space after each comma or period. If you did what you did in a text editor you would get a red squiggly line because it would be wrong. Finally like the above poster mentioned, it's cholesterol (as in a steroid alcohol) and not cholestoral (which would imply there's an aldehyde group).

Anyway, thanks for illustrating your point, albeit annoyingly. I will also pick up a box or two. The garlic crust is delicious.
