TD Canada Trust: Students Get $50 for Opening an Account + a TD Credit Card
This deal has expired!
TD Canada Trust is running a decent deal for students right now! It's worth checking out if you need to open to open a basic no-frills bank account and are looking for a basic credit card as well. Here are the details:
Open a no-monthly fee Value Plus Account for Students as well as a TD Canada Trust Credit Card by October 5 and complete one of these actions by November 30, 2012:
- Complete two payments via EasyWeb or ATM
- Sign up for Direct Deposit
- Complete two Visa Debit purchases online with your new TD Access Card
Both the bank account and credit card do not carry any monthly/annual fees, so it doesn't seem to be a bad deal if you're a student looking to open a new account and get a basic credit card at the same time.
You can score an extra $50 if you open a Value Plus Account for Students, a TD Canada Trust Credit Card and a Student Line of Credit. But we wouldn't suggest getting a line of credit just for a $50 bonus -- you could be paying that off for a long time to come.
