With interest rates at historic lows, prime rate is currently 3% and many banks are offering secured line of credit against your home at prime +1%. RBC is trying to do one better and offering to switch your secured line of credit over to their RBC Homeline plan at a rate of prime +0.5%. RBC will even pay so that you can get out of your existing agreement and over to RBC within certain conditions as listed on their site:
