Don't they make you swipe it in the store and then you can't use it again?

The online coupons don't work on their machines (weird eh). So as long as you show the coupon off your phone or whatever device you use, they will simply apply the coupon, but not take the coupon since they can't, thus endless coupons :P

Maybe I'm confused.....I'm talking about the McD app, when you use a coupon, the cashier makes you "swipe" it, and it can no longer be used after that.

Are we talking about the same thing?

There are 2 sides to the app - weekly app offers and the coupons that you receive in the mail are on there digitally.

The weekly app offers (eg. $1 Medium fries) disappear when you redeem the offer using the QR code.

The digital coupons are essentially the mailer coupons but in a digital format on your app. After you swipe it, they don't disappear.

Once the offers go live, you'll see the banner at the top of the app to click for Digital coupons.

I think someone also mentioned to clear cache/data and that works if the digital coupons actually are limited and redeemed.

Used it multiple times with the app during the promo . Most of the time person on the till has it punched in the register before I get my phone out of my pocket. A few rare times the person behind the till thinks they own McDonalds making you scan the app😀

The online coupons have always worked for me at the self service kiosks. I just load the coupon up on their website in my browser, select the printed coupon option on the kiosk and then scan my phone. If you select the "mobile offer" type it won't work.

Haha, I think you're right. I may have been thinking of the old McD's app that you had to swipe to redeem. :D
