They were, to say the least, quite filling.
We got:
1 x Fri base with buffalo chicken
2 x Rice base with crispy chicken
1 x Rice base with grilled chicken
1 x Salad base with veggie burger
Everyone seemed to enjoy it.
Just want to point out that at my location, they had no problem taking the 50% off in a signal transaction, intact they didn't even ask for the coupon code.
Also they seemed generous in the amount of toppings handed out. For each topping, they had one of the three responses:
"How many slices would you like" (eg. tomatoes, pickles, etc.)
"Is this enough, or would you like more" (eg. onions, etc.)
"Just tell me when to stop" (eg. corn & beans)
Never once did we have to get them to add more without being asked first.
As a side: this deal is still active till today (March 26th) as per the coupon details.
Costco is pretty good too for 3$ something.
Is that the one in Levis, qc?

I dont like mcdonalds poutine
usualy even a bit more than in the pic
$7.99 (chickem bowl) - $4 (50%) + $0.49 (gravy) + $1.49 (cheese curds)...total $6.75
Their reg size poutine is $3.99, $4.51 total
So $2.24 more for a chicken breast and larger bowl portion. I felt it was worth it.
I got the fries base and a veggie burger. Pickles, lettuce, corn and beans (not bad at all), olives, guac, hot sauce, horseradish mayo, harv sauce and chipotle.
Went conservative but loved it!
Essentially, complain on Twitter or FB and you will get a $5-10 gift card
From my observations, a few things to keep in mind.
Chipotle just looks much more well put together, the burrito bowl. Their chicken is seasoned and cooked on a flat top. The topping and base offerings just look much better than Harvey's.
If I were to get the fries as a base, I'd keep it really simple with chicken breast diced up and just add gravy and cheese curds to make it into a bowl sized poutine. I don't even put the topping offerings when eating poutine, so why complicate it now just bc it is 50% off and trying to get max value (I've never added shredded lettuce, red onions, tomato, croutons, corn and black beans, salsa, etc to my poutines).
Gonna binge on a large bowl of the above once I'm healed. Good price.
They gave my friend the take out packet of fork, knife, and napkin.
dressings/ flavourings: guac (3 scoops), salsa, greek, ranch, and chipotle. no complaints about the taste or size...especially at that price. i would have gotten another if i hadn't already had dinner earlier.
i even had a girl from another table come up and tell me "that looks good. where did you get it from?"
i'd definitely get it again at the 50% off....prob not at full price as i like more protein in my meals. btw, make sure to ask for a knife along with the fork so you can cut the larger toppings into a manageable size.
