Toys R Us: Buy One, Get One 40% Off Video Games

This deal has expired!

The holidays are quickly approaching and if you have a few people on your gift giving list that wouldn't mind a new video game or two, here's a chance to get some new release titles on the cheap. Until December 6, you can buy one, get one 40% off all video game software at Toys R Us which is a pretty awesome deal especially because this includes new release games. In the end, it works out to be 20% off each new release but that's still decent if you missed out on a pre-order promotional price. Here's a look at some of the games available:

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
Super Mario Bros U
Zombi U
Assassins Creed III
Super Mario Land 3DS
Mario Kart 7
Paper Mario Sticker Star
Halo 4
NHL 13
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale
Farcry 3

The deal is available in-store and online but excludes clearance items. Stock varies by location so, if you hope to score a couple games, you'll want to get there bright and early.

The promotion ends on December 6.

- Promotion falls within the Paypal 5% back and 20x Air Miles, so your getting back about another 15% in cash and miles so a decent deal for the "can't wait" Christmas gifts.

- It's like 20% off per game, so a typical $60 game becomes $48. Certainly not the best deal, but I guess better than nothing if you really must buy a game now.

  You don't notice any framerate drops? If not then I may risk it, I am fine with a constant lower framerate, I hate sudden drops though!
  
  Also, what's the fine print on this deal? It might be worth it for Nintendo Selects.

  This is the one thing that really makes me want to get a wii u.
  I've been trying to wait till more games are out, kind of got burned buying a 3ds and a vita at launch considering lack of games for months.. But oh how sweet it would be to play home console games on the gamepad...

  wow, i recall reading a review from a gaming site and they said the framerates were better on the wii u
  
  goes to show you that you cant trust a review from mainstream gaming sites anymore

  I don't care about player count, I don't play much online and I am pretty bad at it, so that particular aspect doesn't bother me much. However the potential to get headaches would bother me

  I wouldnt even have bought it period. If you own BO1 you own BO2 and B03 whenever that comes out. Same game, different cover.
