This weekend, August 4-5 is the Free Family Weekend at the Rogers Cup! The event is being held at the Rexall Centre at York University in Toronto. Gates open at 9:30 AM on both Saturday and Sunday and admission is free. There are several family-friendly activities planned, including:

  • Scavenger Hunt, 9:30-11:30 (both days)
  • On-Court Tennis Clinics, 10-12 (both days)
  • Stage Activities, 12-1 (both days)
  • Harlem Globetrotters, 2 PM (Sunday only)

      Is parking available close to the site?
      Paid parking is available on the York University campus. Premium Seat ticket packages may include parking privileges. Please allow for ample time to park and either walk or take a shuttle bus to the stadium.

    • Anyone have more details about when the tennis matches happen? I don't see a schedule of that on the site (for this weekend). Is it just practice? Or actual matches? I have never been to the Roger's Cup or Rexall centre. Any "free" parking areas around even if you have to walk 10 minutes? Suppose to be a scorcher on Saturday so I might pass and rain on Sunday...

      Just trying to decide if it is worth going or just wait and buy tickets one year.
