PlayStation Network PixelJunk Anniversary Sale

If you haven't made a purchase from the PlayStation Network in awhile, now would be a good time to revisit the online store as they've put some of the best selling games on sale. Right now, the PSN is having a PixelJunk Anniversary Blowout Sale where you can pick up select PixelJunk games at a fairly reduced cost. Here's a look at what's on sale:

PixelJunk Racers - $1
PixelJunk Monsters - $1
PixelJunk Eden - $1
PixelJunk Shooter - $1
PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe - $4.99
PixelJunk Shooter 2 - $4.99
PixelJunk SideScroller - $4.99

If you haven't heard of the PixelJunk series as of yet that's probably a good thing because now you get to spend less to get more! These are pretty well reviewed games and offer lots of replay value as they're basically either racing, side scrolling/shooting or tower defense-type games. They all offer something different so you'll want to check out reviews and game play videos before making a purchase. Here's a look at the short montage created and some information used to promote the sale. In short, for less than a cup of coffee, these are great value games.

The sale is live now but only for a limited time. Games are only available for download through the PSN.

  Yes delux is the only psp game, and will support vita by may 15.

  Yeah, absolutely. Both Shooter 2 and SideScroller are a blast (be sure to play them in that order, as the latter is a spinoff). I have not tried Monsters Deluxe but you can't possibly go wrong with a "deluxe" version of Monsters.

  Eden doesn't look so great. There are a lot of positive reviews however watching YouTube clips and playing the demo makes me reconsider purchasing the game.

  Just PSP/Vita. The only games cross-compatible between PS3 and PSP, as far as I know, are PSone games and minis.

  It'll start whenever the PSN store update happens. The timing on that tends to vary, but you can probably expect it somewhere between 6-10pm ET.
