This deal has expired! This deal has expired!

If you're looking for a new phone plan or have one that's just about to expire and are looking for some options, Mobilicity has a pretty good promotion running right now. For a limited time, they've reduced the cost on some of their plans which makes this a good time to do some cell phone plan shopping to see if any these would be suitable for you or your family members. Here's a look at their current promotion:

Unlimited Plus - $30/month (Reg $35)

  • Includes all features from the $25 Starter Plan
  • Voicemail
  • Global Text
  • Canada Wide Long Distance
  • Light Data (Social Networking + Email or BBM + Email)
  • 15 Minutes North American Voice Roaming

Unlimited Value - $37.50/month (Reg $45)

  • Includes all features from the $25 Starter Plan
  • Voicemail
  • Global Text
  • Canada Wide Long Distance
  • Data
  • 30 Minutes North American Voice Roaming
  • U.S. Long Distance

Unlimited Everything - $45/month (Reg $55)

  • Includes all features from the $25 Starter Plan
  • Voicemail
  • Global Text
  • Canada Wide Long Distance
  • Data
  • 60 Minutes North American Voice Roaming
  • U.S. Long Distance
  • Phone Protection Plan

For more info on the plans, you'll want to check out their website here for full details. We're not sure when the promo will expire either so, if you're looking to switch over, you'll want to act quickly before this disappears. For existing Mobilicity customers, unfortunately, this applies only to new activations as per the terms and conditions.

    • Hi,

this is a hot price. My FnF plan is $35 and this was 2 years ago. THis plan is better than my plan for $37 which is a great price.

    • Pretty good if you call all the time outside your local zone and text globally. If not, the back to school plan for $25 is still better.

    • With a plan like this Mobilicity might need to build just one more tower in the right location before I might be able to get some people to switch.

I think that Mobi's current CEO tweeted something recently about some Vancouver-area towers to turn on in May, so perhaps something'll happen before this promo expires.

I thought the same, however the $25 BTS plan does not have call waiting or voice mail. If you are outside your zone or on a call, you may miss a call and not know about it. that was a deal breaker for me

this is an amazing plan for $37.50

    • Noticed the other plans are promo priced also. OP, you should add this to your thread.

      $35 becomes $30
      $45 becomes $37.50
      $55 becomes $45.

Is there anything I'd be losing by switching to this? It doesn't seem like it.

anyone who has done it before please advise.

please post the in store results! i can not make it to the store until the weekend.

i hope they let us switch to 37.50 (and multi-month) without changing anything. changing phone number and/or SIM card will be troublesome.

"only applicable to new activations and only while on preauthorized credit payment" from the Mobilicity website.

@$35 (extra $2 off for preauthorized)
The plan included BIS, Data, and all the calling features offered here minus the roaming minutes.

Though the 60 minute roaming is a $10 value, not everyone buys Mobi to roam.

Technically that fine print only applies to the $37.50 plan, some may save a bit by switching to the $45 one.

Take screen shots, for your records in the event that the CSR's take note of the error. But the CSR's being in Nicaragua (random eh?) they may not take note of it to their superiors for altering.

    • I was looking at signing up for the $35 plan before this promotion for a year, and it worked out to be about $30 tax in. Now with the current promotion and a one year commitment, the price per month end up being about the same. So I think this promotion is only good if you are going month by month.

    • What does "light data" mean? Is there a bandwidth cap? What's the difference between this plan with light data and their more expensive plan which advertises "data"?
