Here's a pretty sweet deal on a very popular first person shooter for the PC courtesy of Gamers Gate. Today's Daily Deal is Battlefield 3 on sale for $9.99 -- down from $40 and a very good price despite being an older title. Though released in October 2011, the game still has a very large community thanks to its on going expansion packs.

Without getting into a fanboy-type rant about which is better between Call of Duty and Battlefield, we'd recommend just watching some game play videos, reading some reviews and finding out which one appeals to you most. Shooters are a dime a dozen now and we wouldn't be surprised if you passed on this altogether for something like Borderlands 2. The FPS market is flooded but Battlefield remains one of the better ones and a steal, in our opinion, at $10.
