...I bought from the online store and had it shipped to a friends house in Washington. The cross-border delivery (from the website) and possible taxes at the border kills me.
I purchased back in March, around $200 of items. My order was broken up in to 4 shipments (with 2 of the boxes 80% empty, just filled with packing bubbles. I actually could fit all 4 orders in to one of the large boxes they used). I ended up having to pay $10 brokerage on each, on top of the $49.50 shipping. So in total it was $26 taxes, $40 brokerage, $49.50 shipping, on top of my $200 of items. It was still cheaper than regular price in Canada, and some would have been difficult to find locally, but not sure I'd want to order from them unless there's a huge discount.
