Here's a fun opportunity for film buffs to see more of their favourite titles on the big screen -- select Cineplex Theatres are screening a new series of classic films for the remainder of 2012, and admission is just $5!

This is the third year of this popular promotion, where all films are presented in a digital format (HD or 2K Digital) and will run on select Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons at participating Cineplex theatres in Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia.

Featured titles listed so far include:

• Sunset Boulevard, September 16 and 19
• Dracula/Frankenstein Double Feature, October 21, 24, and 31
• Lawrence of Arabia, November 11 and 14
• Miracle on 34th Street (1947), December 9 and 12

Note: In previous years, this series ran September through August. While titles are currently only posted until December, it's worth checking back to see if new screenings will be added and if the full schedule page has been updated (still showing 2011/12 schedule at time of posting).

All tickets to the Classic Film Series are $5 each, SCENE members will receive 100 SCENE Points per ticket purchase this year (instead of the previous 50). Enjoy the show!
