Pardon my ignorance, what does GCR stand for? (gift card redemption??)
Thanked.
A book that I want is $53.73 on Amazon.ca
but $72 - $5 on Chapters/Indigo
I always find in terms of pricing from worst to best it's:
Chapters --> Amazon.ca --> Amazon.com
Recently bought a hardcover copy of a book from Amazon.com that came to just under $14 shipped. That is with their $8.98 shipping fee included. The cost on Amazon.ca and Chapters was over $20 BEFORE shipping and the taxes you would have to add for buying in Canada.
Sometimes you can find nice prices from Amazon Marketplace or the Used/Rare books section on Chapters, but usually the shipping kills it.
That's not true, I used coupons before and it works. if you really want to be a real RFDer, you buy gift cards first (you get like 1%), then use the gift card to buy the books you want, hence anohter 3.5%.

Coupon works great,
$30 min purchase of course.
Pricing is great too. They are way better then indigo (except their stores have a great catalogue. See what you want and write it down then buy it from book depository online
