Chapters announced a new Valentine's Day promotion this morning -- starting now, you can pick up a promotional card available in stores, which will reveal a suprise discount off your purchase. The cards are worth at least 10% off, but you also have the chance of winning 20% off, 30% off, 50% off or 100% off your purchase.

To use the card, you'll just need to buy a greeting card in addition to any other items you wish to purchase (so, if you are planning on picking up a Valentine's Day gift and card at Chapters, this deal is for you). The card can't be used towards the purchase of electronics/accessories, giftcards or memberships.

  True. I had the same mentality as you did but in the end I caved in on the deal and bought Chocolates + Card.
