  I don't know. All I can say is that we ordered four last year for the kids and each one was different. They are "random", but maybe they are sorted by type at the warehouse and they pick one of each when you order multiples. I'm sure they don't want to disappoint.

  Comes out to $1.75 each. Obviously must order in even numbers. Oddly if you order 6, you get charged regular price for 2, and half for 4, which equals the same as if you ordered 8.
  
  I bought 8 for $14.00 .....
  So if I do the math: 2x3.50=7.00 + 4x1.75=7.00 Total 14 divided by 6 = $2.33 each.
  
  If this is a glitch, it's not better than 4 at $1.75 each. What am I missing?

  Yep, but for some series, they changed the bump codes two or three times.
  Also, the codes are very hard to actually see. It's much easier to feel the pieces in the bag.
  
  And the employees at the warehouse won't be wasting time comparing bump codes to make sure you get as many different minifigs as possible.

  You are missing the fact that it is Buy 2 get 2 free, not BOGO. So when you buy 6, you miss out on the 2 free. Buy in increments of 4. If your math sucks, just buy 20, use the coupon NOV2012 and it comes to $1.70 each after tax roughly.

  maybe because there is a standard minimum order is 3, when you toss the b2g2 it confuses the system (?).

- Thanks OP. Just ordered 20. Great addition to the basic 650 piece Lego set I got for my son from Walmart. I'll have fun splitting the 20 up over the year to give to him. Just hope I can figure out which one is the bunny (if I get one) so I can give it to him for Easter.
