This deal has expired!
If you grew up with cartoons in 90s, chances are you'll want to get in on this daily DVD deal over at Amazon.ca. For today only, you can pick up ReBoot: The Definitive Mainframe Edition on sale for $32.99. Amazon's retail price is about $70 which is a little too much for nostalgia. At the current price of $33, though, it's a pretty decent deal if you want to re-watch the series.
There really isn't much more to the deal than that. The 9-disc DVD set includes a 20-page booklet, commentary and some other bonuses as pointed out by Reboot Revival.
Quantities are limited so you'll want to order while stock is available. Shipping is free.

The company did a horrible job with the audio.
Such as:
"Therefore those who are especially familiar with the series will notice that there is a flaw with the new DVD release. As some reviewers have already mentioned (both here and throughout the web) the transfer from the original format to DVD was not perfect. There is a consistent problem with the sound pitch so that the characters not only sound slightly deeper (due to the episode running about 4% slower) but the sound quality is off. The voices sound a little choppy at times, it's similar to listening to a cassette that is wearing out. However, do not let this disencourage you from purchasing, it is still listenable, and eventually one can ignore it."
So,there's no dvd set including it
The transfer is slightly slower than the original television broadcasts. These were transferred from pretty good quality digital masters, but only from the NA 29.97Hz interlaced set, not the original 25fps PAL exports. Still, it is the best quality you'll find for Seasons 1 and 2. Season 3 is a lot closer to the ADV sets.
One treasure here: Season 4 is presented in the episode format instead of the film format, but still in 16x9. It's beautiful compared to the failed Season 4 press which resulted in both slower dialogue and pitch.
For this price, it's a steal. It normally goes for about $43 to $46 a set. At launch, it was around $60.
Gavin was a bit ill during his interview, but the commentary on the bonus disk is excellent. There are a few ReBoot shorts that you may have seen around the web, but some of the cuts were never seen prior to this release. Sorry though, The Trias Effect was never found for this release.
