View allAnyone know where MS ships from?
I'm away from work until Wednesday - hopefully it all arrives Weds or Thursday!
The flex in the screen was just crazy. I guess I have been spoilt with Macbooks and ThinkPads recently ;-)
Those are all the reasons why I retuned my 32gb T100.
So in case anybody put their name on a waiting list for the t100. It is possible you will get a call this weekend.
26th being Friday, if you ordered after the cutoff then the processing day would be Monday, shipped Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning, 1-3 business days would be Friday or worst Monday. its holidays my man.
I avoid express shipping these days. xpresspost vs regular mail my stuff arrives within 1 day of each other, costs $1 vs $20 for a simple letter. the fact it says 1-2 day vs 3-5 day shipping does not include "processing / fulfilment" so they can delay it technically as long as they want as long as when it is shipped, it is sent xpresspost.
Thanks!
In all seriousness though, google to the rescue: http://www.intowindows.com/how-to-quick ... ndows-8-1/
Is there a way to disable touch screen ?
Maybe need to get one of those laser things that go beep when people walk past them.. like they have in shops to let the shop keeper know someone has entered the store.. lol!
UPS is disgustingly lazy and I cannot believe they are such a large delivery service.
if your walking up to my door, knock or ring the bell atleast before throwing a package and running like a 12 year old.. there are 3 cars in the driveway, you don't need to say hello, just ring and leave, I come home 3 hours later to find a package sitting there while my family is all @ home... big $$ too.
i think it still directs to the call centre...
I just got the Yoga 2 11" for my wife and setting it up now. Its not a bad machine, and should be okay for her web surfing and MS Office work etc. I've been spoilt with a MacBook previously and a T440s from work which has 2 batteries installed so killer battery life! lol. But thats my work machine.. I'm seriously thinking the Yoga 2 13".
I have been checking the Microsoft store to see what they have on offer and other than the ThinkPad Yoga 12.5 (and the surface pro) I dont see anything comparable.
