    • I think it's ok, it's the older Ive Bridge CPU. It should work for office and nonintensive tasks.

i5 3330 is $189.99, 8GB 1600MHz RAM is ~$50 at cheapest (on newegg), 1TB is ~$65 and you can get a cheap motherboard and case for less than $150 so you might be able to build that for cheaper but if you factor the fact that they're building it for I would say it's a fair price.

    • Ordered the LG TV. Looks to be a good deal.
Couldn't get the RFD rebate to work.. so i used the GCR 2.25% rebate + the 2% credit card rebate =)

    • Does Dell have price protection? I paid $550 for that TV 2 weeks ago!

    • Possible price match with Visions. on the 47" LG.
      Visions price $678 - Dell price $449 = $229 @ 15% price beat means $449 - $34.35 = $414.65

-- That is if you can find one. Store stock in Saskatchewan is limited to demos.

    • Not 100% sure. Google says no, but from my past exp if you talk to the customer care they'll usually fix whatever prob you have so your best shot is to call them.

Ya, I've always had a great time with Dell chat. They actually replaced my monitor like 5 times (drop shippes (ie they ship you referb monitor you ship the old one back in the same box)) in like 2 week because of a software bug the tech support couldn't figure out how to fix. I eventually found the fix on the forum. One of the 5x was because of dead pixel issue. Seriously, when it comes to support and warranty no one can top Dell (despite their reputation (not sure how they got it).

How do like the picture on this TV... Reviews Ive read say it has horrible contrast/blacks. (those may be based on its origional price though, cant expect to much for $450 IMO)

Damn! Seems they fixed the price back to $500.... Curse my indecisiveness! Right when I decide to go for it and finally get gcr going too.

    • The 47" LG is actually $449.
I was looking at the review at amazon (which is the 47LS5700, a smart TV, btw) and it went back up to $499. I did see it at $449 a few minutes ago.

Yep, it was $450, had it in the cart ready to go but got greedy and tried to find a coupon that would work, changed right in the cart.... bummer.

    • Sucks the price went up to $499, I would have bought it with no hesitation at $450. $499 is still not a bad price though...

If you use Airmiles, you should stack that on this offer as opposed to RFD cashback/GCR cashback. With the 15X promo and 3X from Dell, you get 18X back with a bonus 100 AM (450AM + 100 = 550AM; an AM to me is worth roughly -$0.055-$0.12; so $30-$66 back).
