Costco.ca: Asus Nexus 7 32GB Android Tablet $200
This deal has expired! This deal has expired!

If you've been looking for a good deal on a Nexus 7 tablet, forum member mobe21 has found one at Costco. For a short time, you can pick up the Asus Nexus 7 32GB Android Tablet on sale for $199.99 -- down from $269.99 and a very good price for the 32GB model. We've seen a lot of pre-owned and refurbished 16GB models on sale for around $170 but here's your chance to double your space and get it brand new for just $30 more. If you absolutely need the space and prefer to buy new, this is definitely a deal to jump on. The Nexus 7 specs include:

  • NVIDIA Tegra 3 T30L Quad Core Processor
  • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (Upgradeable)
  • 1 GB DDR3 RAM
  • 32 GB Hard Drive
  • 7" TFT Active Matrix Colour HD LCD IPS Display with LED Backlight
  • 1 Year Warranty

There are a lot of tablets available now around $200-$250, so you'll want to do your homework to find out which one works best for you. The Nexus 7 remains one of the better value buys at $199 and got some pretty good reviews when it launched in July of 2012.

Shipping is free. Quebec residents will want to check out this product page here.

    • That is a sick deal. $259 is the regular price on Google Play store and pretty much everywhere else.
I think the only time it went down to $199 were refurbs at like NewEgg or something.

    • Funny... I was thinking of getting one of these yesterday and did some research and while I WAS going to wait until the new one comes out in July, at this price, I think I'll jump on it.

If I change my mind, I can always return it :-)

      Thanked!

    • J Sonic had refurbs at $169 for people living in Montreal. Unfortunately, they get one at a time and you have to jump on it when it becomes available. This makes much more sense.

    • Possible price match with Memory Express for $182.49

Should work, anyone can order from Costco.ca

      Enjoy!
Darn... Forgot about PM'ing. Just ordered through BestBuy for the Reward Zone points. Not as good as $182.49, but still $7 cheaper than Costco. Might still keep the Costco order though as better return policy.

    • I bought one for me and the gf, she uses hers and I've used mine like twice. Maybe three times in the last month. Just not that much different than a S3, and it's akward to hold. Shrugs. I'd have preferred buying it from Costco for sure, as I'd have returned it. Instead I bought it at staples which had a 14day policy.. bleh.

This is a good deal, for someone who will use it. But fyi. in less than 10 days the new version will be announced at the Google I/O conference.

    • Thanks op great deal for $200. Can't go wrong with coscto 90 day returns. The new version probably won't be available from 3rd party retailers until a few months from now. I'm sure the new version will sell out quickly directly from google.

that is the nature of tablet. They seem to be good but actual usage is usually not that high except for a limited segment of people.

Why even Saint Steve sold iPad(which is 4x the size ) cheaper than iphone.

No, you cannot. Costco requires membership which, Staples / BB / FS would use to reject your claim.

    • Too bad no 3g, but it's still got a great deal.
its the best bang for the buck even at original price and now it's even cheaper.

    • ng it. I sold off my 16 GB cuz I wasn't using it enough (due to Note 2). 32 GB is too tempting so i caved.

      Thanks OP, you B*stard.

Costco.ca does NOT require a membership, however i bet Staples will deny you without even looking. Costco.ca prices are marked up around 5% over their B&M stores + shipping is added in too.
