View all* The root mentioned above in post 169 worked for me as well.
* Swiftkey unfortunately does not work well...lots of lag...switched back to google keyboard and response is much better but not as good as my S4
* Google music will not recognize the external memory card for cached playback. You can root and sideload the apk file Play Music Importer. Then chose the option to unlock the SD card for KitKat 4.4. Now I have 32gig more to play with!
Overall pleased with purchase...replacing a Nexus 7 (2012) which is almost unusable with Lollypop 5.01. Looking to get a case...has anyone used a keyboard mouse combo for this?
Instructions for play music exporter:
PS: Got my case, VERY nice, has magnets to keep it closed and when folded
Anyway, the pre-order option is pretty easy to do, or you can wait and buy it from China/HK
Point here being that yr post is deceiving,; it’s not $12.99 but $12.99 + $7.99 [Total $20.98] at the best… Or going through the hoops. 'nuff said.

2. I can disable vibration for the keyboard but I can't find a way to disable it for the soft keys at the bottom of the screen. Anyone know how to do it?
2. You can turn off the vibration. Personally I hated it.
1. Crackle noise on headphone. This seems to be a known issue with this tablet.
2. Vibration on key press makes really annoying buzzing noise which I think is coming from the motor.
Anyone else have these issues? Is there any way to fix them?
Online : Yes In Stock (Montreal)

Sales persons at FS were on commission.
Reserved online for Lachenaie BB (Quebec) they had stock
Don't know who bought them because they had lots of stock Tuesday evening
Could BB pulled out the stocks
I have had it happen where the response to my reservation request was denied because of "lack of stock" yet when I went in and checked myself they had several of that item available (online did back me up). Could they have restocked between when I made the reservation request and went in? Sure, but you can generally tell if something has been recently stocked. My weasel sense told me that it was in stock all along. I suspect I may have been subjected to a clerk who could be bothered to go on the floor and get it.
Just wonder how the tablet handles this - I have a Tegra 4 android tablet with 2gb ram, my only issues are flash support and output of high bandwidth movies via HDMI.
Will they restock?
For movie-watching it'd be no problem because it's only rarely that I ever have to access the sides.
Sorry to hear it didn't work in your case.
