Wind Mobile: Unlimited Wish Plans Starting at $25 for Unlimited Local Talk, Global Text & 100MB Data

Wind Mobile: Unlimited Wish Plans Starting at $25
This deal has expired! This deal has expired!

Wireless plans are finally starting to come down to reasonable prices but if you're still not happy with your current provider, Wind Mobile has two Holiday Miracle Plans worth checking out. While we expect the competition between all wireless providers to ramp up this season, Wind is offering the following two plans at $25 and $40 respectively. Here's a look at some of the finer details:

Unlimited Wish $25/Month

  • Wind Tab up to $200
  • Unlimited Wind to Wind Canada Calling
  • Unlimited Incoming/Outgoing Local Calling
  • Canada Wide Calling $0.20/Minute
  • US Calling $0.05/Minute
  • International Calling $0.01/Minute
  • Unlimited Global Text
  • Unlimited Incoming Text/Picture Messaging
  • Outgoing Picture Messaging $0.20/Per Message Canada Wide
  • 100MB Data
  • Discounted International Rates
  • Voicemail+
  • Caller ID, Missed Call Alerts, Conference Calling, Call Forwarding, Call Waiting

Unlimited Wish $40/Month

  • Wind Tab up to $500
  • Unlimited Wind to Wind Canada Calling
  • Unlimited Canada/US Calling
  • International Calling $0.01/Minute
  • Unlimited Global Text
  • Unlimited Incoming Text/Picture Messaging
  • Unlimited Outgoing Picture Messaging Canada Wide
  • Unlimited Data
  • Discounted International Rates
  • Voicemail+
  • Caller ID, Missed Call Alerts, Conference Calling, Call Forwarding, Call Waiting

These are two pretty good plans if you're looking to move away from your current provider. Wind doesn't have the reach that a Bell or Rogers has in terms of reception but if you live within the zoning areas, these could be plans to consider. There's no doubt there's a lot of value for $25 and $40 which could be suitable for students on a budget or for those looking to move away from $60+ monthly bills.

There are some terms and conditions but a quick read shows these plans are for life and not just 6 or 12 months -- as is with some promotions. Any existing Wind customer that wants to switch over to either of these plans will need to pay an additional $30 fee.

Both plans can be purchased now and the promotion ends on Christmas.

World Saver Add-On is now included.

Would they be offering WindTab+ with these plans?
Yes. I'm sure it will follow the same WindTab subsidies you see on the website currently for the regular Wind 25 and 45 plan.

      no caller ID?
      Fixed.

All Wind features are unlimited when on the Wind network.

    • no caller ID?
All Wind Plans have caller ID by default. It is not mentioned but I can be 99.99% sure it is included.

Yes you can text to almost any number word-wide, including the US.

Wind only has a network in Canada so as long as your on the Wind network than you can call the US for free.
