Sears Canada Inc
TheSource.ca: Canon Accessory Kit with Bag and Battery for the T2i, T3i and T4i $69.99 (Save $30)
This deal has expired!
If you already have a digital SLR, mainly a Canon T2i, T3i or newer T4i and are looking to invest in a spare battery, chances are you know how much a first-party offering from Canon can be. Right now, though, TheSource.ca has a decent deal on a Canon Accessory Kit which includes a bag and a battery for $69.99. Normally, this kit would cost you around $100, so getting it for $30 off isn't too bad -- especially if you plan on travelling with your digital SLR.
Though digital SLR batteries do last quite a bit, it's very risky to travel with only one battery. Turning the camera on and off, leaving it in stand-by and shooting in various modes can drain power pretty quickly and you never want to be left with a great camera but a dead battery. Sure, $70 might seem like a lot to put into a battery and a bag but, if you're going to buy these accessories anyway, might as well save a bundle in purchasing them together.
The deal is live now but quantities are limited. The promotional price ends on November 30. If for some reason the link above does not point you to the correct product page, you can find it by ending the code: 8005610.

Tempted to purchase a couple of these batteries for back-up.
I use them a lot. the shipping time is LLLLLOOOONNNNGGGGG, very long...
even if you upgrade to their faster shipping ($$) that doesn't mean you will get if faster because sometimes you have to wait a lot before they fill your order.
the service was always GREAT for me; On defective items, all I had to do is take a picture and show them with an explanation, I would get a new one in the mail...( in a month..)
I bought some camera batteries from them and they were good for the price...
iI like them a lot but still it's China...quality is so so sometimes
good luck
stef
And I don't know why, but they don't hold their charge.
(Like if I let my camera unused for a certain amount of time, when I'll try to open it the battery will more than likely be near empty. While I never had this problem with the oem battery...)
Maybe I was just unlucky tho.
