  Using a $30 off $200 business coupon stacked with the $15 off $100 coupon (supposedly not applicable for tablets) worked for me.

  Perhaps RIM has a large inventory of the 64GB model given that everyone was buying the 16GB or 32GB models on the last deal, and now they are just trying to get rid of the excess inventory before selling the business or finally killing off the Playbook. A lot of rumours are going around about RIM---this pricing strategy only raises more concerns about whether they intend to continue the PB (or business) in the long-term (especially if its true that they are selling the PB at a lost at these prices!).

- i read a wrap-up article on gizmodo about the top 10 best things from CES 2012... and one of them was a major OS/software update on the blackberry playbook. fixing all the things people hate, making the OS zippy, and full support of (my brother said not all, but i thought it was all) android apps.

- I saw a posting here for the source for the exact same deal, but this isnt limited to 1 retailer. The 16GB, 32GB and 64GB Blackberry Playbooks all $299.99 each until February 4th, 2012. Futureshop, bestbuy, all have this price, tigerdirect and canadacomputers arent honoring this pricing for some reason....Walmart is selling the playbooks for $298.00 + HST + WEEE Fees.

- Wow, that 2.0 is pretty impressive. I have a new sealed 64GB PB that I was on the fence about keeping but after seeing this, I think that I'll open it and actually use it.

  For people holding out, might as well wait for the new generation (if there is one). Given the huge amount of stock, the current playbook can only go lower in price.

  +1; I have a 64 and I love the big headroom. I just started using it and synced some pictures some videos and music and I already used 20gbs. I can see filling the rest pretty fast.

- With a promotion code, I was able to order 64GB Playbook for $240 before taxes. This is only $40 more than the RIM employee price. The unit was shipped out 24 hours after the order was confirmed.

  None of the computer I purchased ever see the space use expand beyond 75% of the original size and I always buy the smallest space available, so there goes your old saying.

- $240 for the 64GB model is pretty sweet, but I can't get the shopblackberry.com to play nice. The system rejects my order no matter what I try; customer service says it's because the transaction is considered "high risk." The only thing I can do is mail them a cheque. Honestly, that's just too much hassle.
