There's good news though -- right now at The Source, you can find an Acer Aspire One AO756 Series 11.6" Laptop with an Intel Sandy Bridge Dual Core processor, 4GB RAM, 320GB hard drive, and WIndows 7 for $299.99! While this is listed as a netbook, the processor is significantly faster than what you find in laptops normally classed as netbooks. A Sandy Bridge powered dual core Celeron processor is a far cry from Intel's netbook Atom processors. This laptop should be a lot zippier all around. At 3lbs and a $299.99 price point, this looks like a great option if portability and low price are at the top of your must-have list. Officially the deal ends on September 5, but we think this could sell out before then.
