Though they don't have any weekend door crashers this Saturday, Staples still has some pretty decent deals if you're looking for an affordable laptop, an external monitor or the illusive 16GB BlackBerry PlayBook. Of all the notable deals we found, the one that caught our eye was the Acer Aspire 13.3" Laptop with Intel Core i3-2310M, 4GB RAM, 750GB HD and 1GB nVidia GPU for $499.71. Unfortunately, there isn't an online link for it and it's available in-stores only. If you're interested, however, we'd recommend calling your local Staples and asking for it via product code 330197 to see if it's in stock.

It's a capable and portable laptop that should satisfy the needs of students and those looking for something basic. Web browsing, word processing and light gaming shouldn't be a problem although heavy CPU applications might run slowly. A single HDMI and USB 3.0 port are also included.

The 16GB BlackBerry PlayBook model makes a return with its unofficial-official $199 pricing. Its popularity might have regressed a bit with many similar sales taking place but, for those who haven't yet been able to find one, Staples has them back in stock.
