Sony: Killzone 3 Multiplayer Going Free to Play
We love our multiplayer games around the office and we love them even more when they're free. According to Ars Technica, the multiplayer component of the PlayStation 3 exclusive Killzone 3 is going free to play in North America on February 28.
There are going to be some restrictions, of course, as players will be capped at a certain level. To fully enjoy the multiplayer experience and to continue levelling up and unlocking new items and trophies, you'll need to fork out $14.99 or buy the full game which retails now at $29.99. Either way, we hope this becomes a trend as we tend to overlook the campaign aspect of multiplayer-centric games. At the very least, you'll get a feel for the game and if its worth your $30.
We hope to see you online on Feb 28.
