Forum user wharxce has pointed out a couple of good deals on TV stands at Sears.ca -- a silver model for $55.00 and black $99.99 stand that looks a bit more elegant in our opinion.

- when to the Sears at Markville mall and they didnt have the black one in stock. I looked at it and fell in love instantly. Its a very hot item for the price. I tried to order it on-line but the 10% code didnt work. Did anyone else get it to work. And has anyone found this stand at another sears location?

- I got 50" TV Stand Silver ,and it's not bad. It's wooden btw whereas most of the other stands are metal.

- I used want to buy $99 stand, but the $20 off $100 coupon does not work, so I end up picked $55 stand, and used $10 off $50 coupon and pick up in store, cost $54.XX. I like it has the holes for the wires and cables to connect with TV, and looks nice.

- i got the black one on last christmas also with the same price, very good looking stand but the only problem it can't fit in more than..... i would say 5 electrionic stuff in there ( to make it look good and not over weight because the glass only has 2 extend arms to hold on to it)
  
  i have a xbox360, ps3, receiver, HD cable box and HD dvd player and the cable box need to end up on top of my HD dvd player, but for this price, it's well worth it
  
  also i would like to add is the bottom glass and the top one not too far apart, my receiver just barely fit in and the top almost touches the top, i am worry about a bit of overheat if you are not keeping all the stuff in a basement

  Remember that Sears stores can always order an item they don't have in stock. I didn't realize that there was black version of this item.
  
  For those who want to ask employees at stores to bring it up in their stock system (which by the way you shouldn't trust) or to order in store, it's probably:
  
  Division: 1
  Stock #: 36305 for Black and 36313 for Silver. Or just give them the entire item number from the website and they can try to guess what it is. Most stands are 36xxx but because these are division 1 (furniture) rather than 57 (electronics) it might work different.

- I got the black one last year, its not bad but as someone else said there isnt much room. I have a ps3, xbox360, hd dvd player and onkyo 606 receiver and the stuff barely fits. Just make sure when you put it together, you resist tightening the screws as you go, only tighten them after you've put the majority of it together.

- I'm a real stickler for avoiding gloss. I can't stand the new gloss frames around all the LCD and Plasma now a days ... too much glare.

  I'm looking forward to having no door as my Rogers HD box does not pick up the clicker the best when I have my exsisting stand's glass doors shut. I need to be very precise as to the angle I hold the clicker.
