MTF Price Matters

PriceMatters.ca: PlayStation 3 320GB Uncharted Drake's Deception 3 Bundle $202.99 w/Free Shipping

PriceMatters.ca: PlayStation 3 320GB w/Uncharted 3
This deal has expired! This deal has expired!

If you're looking to pick up your first PlayStation 3, need a replacement or just want another one for the house, PriceMatters.ca has a the 320GB Drake's Deception Bundle on sale for $202.99 with free shipping. Despite being released last year, Drake's Deception received very high scores and the 320GB PS3 on its own normally retails for $300. Getting both for just over $200 is a pretty sweet deal to us!

We're not sure how long the deal is on for so, if you're interested, you'll want to place an order for one soon. Free shipping is available.

    • they only have stores in BC. good luck PM'ing if you're outside the province.

plus the website looks super sketchy. prepare for the "authorized canadian retailer" reason.

MTF sells a lot of excess/overstock/refurb/returns/open box stuff, basically like a xs cargo.

    • Agree with the poster above. Might be hard to pm depending on the csr. But really good deal if it works. And with a 23$ filler item, would one shud be able to stack the 50 and 25$ coupon, making the total cost of the ps3 + filler item come out to 150$

      $202.99 at Pricematters.ca: http://www.pricematters.ca/p-3601-ps...on-3-bund.aspx
      $299.95 at Future Shop: http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/produ...7a82bb94 fen02
      After PM at Futureshop= $193.30

This is a hot deal. What would be smoking hot is if anybody can find stock in Staples. No ads for this bundle on Staples online. However Staples sells the PS3 250GB Uncharted 3 Bundle for $269.99, so theres a chance they may sell the 320GB bundle in store.

If your lucky enough to find the 320GB Bundle in store at Staples you'll get it PM'd at $202.99- $50 coupon= $152.99
Coupon details in this thread: http://forums.redflagdeals.com/merge...mails-1241708/

Pricematters has a free shipping promo if you spend $25 or more, so no added shipping costs. They ship nationwide, even to the USA (USA shipping=duties+shipping costs). Also I couldn't find anything on Pricematters website indicating that this PS3 Bundle is a refurb so this is the real deal.
Just a heads up... a lot of FS know they are liquiditor and refuse to PM them. Of course haven't tried recently so maybe its easier to PM them now. Pretty much everything there is opened/used (except food and amazingly when i was there, people actually were buying food there, and some of them were past expiry, note this was a few years ago). I heard some of Costco's returned products ends up there (while most end up elsewhere). They have some pretty good deal on shaw/telus equipment too (reason i went there i think).

Nowhere in the item description, or elsewhere on the site does it say these products are refurb. That's pretty bad if they sell something without clearing stating it isn't brand new, because that would normally be the expectation wouldn't it? They may have some good deals here and there, but for the most part they are pretty bad it seems. Thanks anyway, OP.

Technically this is a valid PM. Reasons being, on the pricematters website:
1)Theres nowhere on the website that mentions that this bundle is refurbished, limited quantities, clearance, etc.
      2) They ship anywhere in Canada with free shipping if you spend $25 or more.

For those that say this company only sells refurbished or open boxed items, nowhere on their website says this. Under their company info it states:
"Pricematters mission is simple, take top of the line brands and combing them with the best in discount online shopping . For customers, this means premium products in consumer electronics, housewares, kitchen, bath and more all at below wholesale prices".

Me living in Ottawa Ontario I never been in one of their stores so how am I to know that they only sell refurbished goods?

    • This might be slightly irrelevant. For those of you who have the $25 off $75 and $50 off $150 coupons at Staples, you could get the new "Super Slim" bundle with Uncharted 3: Game of the Year, and a digital copy of DUST 514, for $194.99 after the coupons ($269.99 - $50 - $25). It worked out to be ~$223 tax in. I placed my order on Friday and hopefully it should be delivered today (none of the stores in my area has the item in stock). Here is the link:

I am in the same boat hence i asked the question about slim vs slim 2.0... from what i have read fans seem to not like the slim 2.0 because of cheapness in construction/assembly/materials.

I've never met that guy selling stuff out of his van. How am I to know that the pile of cheap games I bought were stolen?

Don't claim ignorance: it just makes you look bad. Stop making excuses for your borderline-illegitimate PM and enjoy your PS3.

      Super slim Staples bundle: 250GB
      FS/pricematters bundle: 320GB

Besides size/weight is there any major differences (performance) between the Super Slim Ps3 and the normal size Ps3?

That was one of my concerns too, but I have the original PS3 (now dead), the Slim (given to my cousin) so it was only natural for me to go for the Super Slim. Mine just arrived at home. Personally, I like how it is quite a bit smaller, and I like the sliding cover, but I haven't seen the real thing yet so I am going to reserve judgment on it.

LOL this situation has nothing to do about some dude selling electronics/games out of their van.

This is about an authorized Canadian retailer that operates in British Columbia for over 25 years now, and through their online website ships products nationwide. They claim to "take top of the line brands and combing them with the best in discount online shopping", just like any other major electronic store. They mention nothing about this bundle being refurbished or open box, and nowhere on their website they mention that they only sell refurbished goods.

They are a liquidator and therefore the Pm should not be valid.

It doesn't say anywhere on their website that this PS3 bundle is on liquidation nor does it say this company is a liquidator lol.
