- hard to find a review on this unit. Newegg has it for 80$ and the one person that bought it said the DVD speed is awful.

  This is the cheapest I've seen a BR-Rom for.
  
  8X is kinda slow compared to the newer dvd drives. But it's good enough for HTPC =)
