This week's Labour Day Sale Event doesn't have as many weekly specials as the last two weeks of back-to-school promotions but there are still over 150 surprise items on sale. In addition, ground shipping has been reduced to just $4.99 for a limited time. If the fees for ordering online always made you think twice, this might be a good time to revisit some items you've wanted in the past. Some of the specials this week include:

  32gb version has faster write speeds than 16gb, so my benchmarks I posted are pretty accurate.
  
  Still better than cheap/crap usb2 only sticks, even if stuck on usb2 host.

  Anyone have any comments on the i5/mobo combos? In dire need of some juice on my 5 year old system, it's time for a decent upgrade to the cpu/mobo/ram, and then the budget 660ti video card! Might pull the plug. Looks like the ASUS mobo comes out on top as far as raings on various sites online...

  Yes, I just don't remember how much cheaper they've been before thought. But $25 is pretty good.

  was wondering about this myself, personally speaking though. might go with the msi bundle since its cheaper plus i dont want to sink in too much into the build that i have right now. so $300 might be the sweet spot for me, i wont do any sli configurations anyway so that bundle would do.

  Um .. 2500k for $190, 256GB 830 for $200, 550Ti for $80, 7950 Double D for $280, decent CPU coolers for $5 and more .. IMO this is actually one of the better sales, something warm for everyone.

  If he's getting discrete graphics and planning on OC, go for the 2500k. Otherwise go with Ivy Bridge.

  He's not gonna OC, but gonna get discrete for sure. Gaming PC. Looks like 2500k may still be faster now. I don't why everyone at the beginning of the year were saying to wait for ivybridge.

  Well not pro, but it takes like 15-20 min for me to put one together. Like I do it thinking you don't need to waste time putting in screws for every single hole on the mobo/dvdrom/hdds/etc. just enough to hold it so it doesn't wiggle, just throw it all in format and install OS/a-virus/drivers stuff. You got yourself a computer.

  Oh what I meant was like "building a rig" not the physical way but the virtual way to know what to get before the real purchase goes through.
