Google: Nexus 4 8GB Smartphone $309, 16GB $359
This deal has expired! This deal has expired!

The wireless market is flooded with smartphones from different brands with various sizes and features but, ultimately, they're all pretty pricey. Whether you're on a contract, tab or buy outright, to get the latest and greatest, you're looking to pay at least $400 for a new phone. Google, however, has just announced a new Nexus 4 at a very competitive starting price of $309 off contract. While there isn't a deal here per se, this is a loaded smartphone at a very reasonable price. Specs are as follows:

  • 4.7" WXGA IPS Display with Corning Gorilla Glass 2
  • 1280 x 768 Resolution (320 ppi)
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon(TM) S4 Pro
  • Android 4.2
  • 8 MP Camera, 1.3 MP Front-Facing
  • 8 GB Internal Storage (16GB Available)
  • 2 GB RAM
  • Micro USB, SlimPort HDMI, 3.5mm Headphone Jack

The phone can be used with any carrier but, unfortunately, isn't available for purchase from Google until November 13. For more information, you can check out the product page here.

nice price, can buy in canada?
I fixed the link. Not a US only deal. Price given is in Canadian dollars. It's available the same way as the Nexus 7 has been available.

    • Definitely good deal for a brand new phone. Pentaband works on all carriers here... tempting.

This is an awesome deal, to be honest. $309 for the best phone on the market, which happens to be pentaband and unlocked!

    • That is a really hot price for a new and unlocked phone.

But why doesnt it have LTE?? Most new phones have it nowadays... Is there a reason why Google omitted it?

Nexus is a world phone, LTE is region specific so makes no sense for a world phone. Probably will be a LTE version for US down the road

    • Wow, this is going to start depressing current model smartphone prices such as the S3.

      Maybe it's a pricing error s/b $809 instead of $309?

    • Considering that I don't do alot of crazy stuffs, I will probably go with the 8GB one. But still, this phone is surprisingly cheap!
