this offer is expired

We covered the various iPhone 5 options available now in this lengthy post but with a product this new and this popular, there really aren't any discounts to be found. But as of today, you can buy an unlocked iPhone 5 16GB directly from Apple for $699 and get 1.5% cash back from RFD! The same offer is available for the 32GB ($799.99) and 64GB ($899.99) models.

Unfortunately, the unlocked phones aren't shipping for another 3-4 weeks, but they are only available online -- according to the Apple rep we talked to today, you can't get them in-store.

    • Wish this was available during the preorders. Got my iphone 5 already. I actually might return mine because i don't find it a huge difference vs. my iPhone 4.

    • Remember that Apple products RARELY go on sale, and we're talking about a just-released product here.

While most people are going to be paying the retail price, $10 off is $10 off. Combine that with an existing rewards/cash back card and you're saving even more. For anyone considering the iPhone 5, this is an attractive offer. Sure, it's unlikely to spur all those "such a good deal I had to buy it anyway"

    • If you have to get one, get a white one. Google iphone 5 "scuffgate". Out of 1000 polled in one forum over 45% noticed scuff marks on their iphones after light use, and obviously those marks are more prominent on black iphones as whats underneath the coating is silver. Whats more some 20% got scuff marks and other imperfections out of the box. Lets call this launch Nexus 7 2.0.

There's also a video about it even before the iP5 launch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0l4vpyQIafY

    • Come on . RFD makes money on top of posting this .let's be real .This is why RFD forums slowly get's fed "corporate" deals .............for $10 off. 140 watchers think this is deal of century lol

this is nowhere "hot" lol .........hot for Yellow page Group sure ....tons of hits .

Still prefer a poster posting a real "hot Deal "
We get it - you hate that RFD and/or Yellow Pages Group is a "business" and has to pay for servers, and staff, etc... and just want people to post huge deals all the time. Seriously, this is $10 off the hottest gadget right now. As many have said, better than nothing, and if you don't like this thread, stop posting troll-ish comments in it so it stops going back up to the top of the forum!

    • $10 savings on a $20 item is the same as $10 off on a $700 item. The results are the same. Hardcore RFDers will not take this is much a of a deal but its a good heads up for other people (and people that new to cash back) whom are willing to pay regular price anyway.

Pair it with this deal and you get 3% off

While it might not be a LAVA hot deal, a deal where people save money is still a deal. 10$ here 10$ there it adds up.
Also, it's RFD's site so you can't expect something to be completely ad-free honestly. They gotta make some money too or else RFD wouldn't exist!
