If you're in the market for a new laptop and don't mind buying refurbished, Future Shop has a good deal on a 15.6" Samsung laptop worth looking into. Right now, you can pick up the refurbished Samsung Series 7 15.6" Laptop with Intel Core i7-2675QM, 750GB HD, 6GB RAM and AMD Radeon 6490M for $719.99. While not the lowest price we've seen for a second-generation quad-core i7, this notebook packs a powerful punch in a mobile and well constructed package.

The aforementioned i7 processor is well suited to handling many CPU intensive programs. If you typically spend time with photo and video editing software, you won't find any slowdown while rendering or post processing your photos. The 750GB hard drive is nice, though we'd like to see more than the 6GB of RAM. The dedicated 512MB AMD GPU is also a nice feature but we wouldn't expect too much out of it if you plan on playing newer and more demanding games.
