For the next couple of days, you can get your hands on the popular Canon Rebel T3i 18MP Digital SLR and 18-200mm IS Lens for $899.99 courtesy of Future Shop. Even with the new Canon T4i out, the T3i is still a very good body and the accompanying 18-200 IS is as close to an affordable all-in-one lens you're going to find. It's not a full-frame body or L glass but the price isn't too bad.

Some highlights of the Canon T3i include:

The lens, however, is what camera enthusiasts should be most interested in. A high quality body is nice but not as integral as the glass attached to it. The 18-200mm IS normally retails for around $700 on its own but it would be hard to spend that kind of money on a non-L lens. It is, however, a pretty decent lens with image stabilization and a wide focal range which works well for those who don't want to invest in any more lenses. This gives you a pretty wide angle for group shots and a telephoto end for outdoor sports.

Individually, you're looking at around $600 for the body and about $650 for the lens so, at the very least, there's some decent value here. Whether or not you're looking to spend more in the future will impact your decision to pick up this kit, though.
