- you can never trust the "Save $xxx". Just this past black friday I wrote prices down 2 weeks before and found that the "previous price" was inflated every time. always do your homework.

  Yup, I was really hoping there would be another deal like last boxing day for a 43" plasma at $299. I really hope someone offers a deal like that again. It would feel very weird if a previous year's sale beat this year's sale. Deals should be getting better each year. You know?

- @RoyalRed The Nikon D3200 is a good beginner camera, and that package is not bad. You'd be better off finding last years D3100 or better yet D5100 at a much cheaper price as they clear them out the D3200 and D5200.
  A week ago I bought the D5100 body and 55-200 lens at Henrys for $430+$160. The kit lens can be found everywhere for just over $100 or so.

- I work at a flyer distribution and both best buy and future shop deals (Dec 28~) sucked big time. They are as lame as the walmart and the staples. The samsung galaxy tab 7.0 is $199 which was already down to $149 in previous weeks. Don't know how that's a BD offer. I haven't seen the flyer for boxing day yet, looking for some good deals on laptops with dedicated graphics.
