Free Flickr Pro Account for Rogers Internet Customers + Freebies for Wireless Customers

This month there are some extra perks for subscribing to some of Rogers' services. First, because Rogers is a partner with Yahoo!, and Yahoo! is closing Yahoo! Photos in favour of their photo sharing site, Flickr, Rogers is offering all Hi-Speed customers a free Flickr Pro account! A Flickr Pro account includes unlimited storage and uploading as well as a number of archiving features. Normally a Pro account costs $24.95 US per year. To get your Pro Account, log in to your Rogers webmail and click on the "Photos" link at the top right corner of the page. It will bring you to a Flickr page where you can sign up for the account. There are two freebies for Rogers Wireless subscribers. First some Rogers Wireless subscribers are getting inserts with their Wireless bill (or reportedly sometimes as a separate letter) that includes a free gift code that can be redeemed for a free CD from a list of number of recent hits. Look for a letter that mentions the URL: www.rogers.com/gift. You can't claim the CD without the gift code from the letter. Finally, Rogers is offering a free subscription to URMagazine as ladybug193 reports:

  I am having problems though, I click on Photos then login with my rogers ID, I select merge account but when I login to flickr doesn't recognize my email address and password???

  I don't see why not....but you'll have to give them the email address and password that you created, as those two items will be your login name and password for flickr as well.

  Unlike the message you got, I have a message that says "You have a Pro account, at no cost as long as you keep your Rogers Yahoo! service."

  If not, click the create a new account. I was mistakenly clicking on merge thinking that it will create a flickr account for me.

  i thought that i didnt qualify or something, cause we werent notified of it...
  but my friend told me that you just have to manually seek it out~
  so i gotta do that tomorrow, once i can reset my passwords~
