This is a good deal for those who aren't tethered to data connections and just need something for calls and texts. Add to this a low cost data plan, for those interested, and you've got a pretty good haul at an affordable price with better reception than some of the smaller wireless providers.

$400 with 2 years with selected Fido agreement? Isn't a little bit too much? LOL.
Called Fido, I was wrong. The $10 add-on is moronic, it offers $10 unlimited Long distance calling - ONLY. Local-Calling is still attributed to the 150 minutes.

I'm thinking of taking the deal but Fido mentioned I'm not eligible for a new phone discount if I want to renew my 2 year agreement with this current $25 plan in 2014. It's either this promo plan on a month-by-month basis and buy a phone at full price or purchase a discounted phone with their available plans in 2014.

My parents were on the old 25$ plan, and they both changed to this one.
As mentioned, it already has Canada wide. No data though. This is what my wife got through retentions for $35. She's month-to-month, but on contract the plan is also eligible for the better phones (like the Razr HD, Galaxy Nexus, and overpriced Galaxy S III):
