View allIs everyone certain they're not mixing up USA sale ads and then visiting the canadian links with Dell Canada sale prices? Also the industry loves to use lame excuses for their artificial price hikes. They also price fix what customers pay for general classes of parts so they can maintain a steady predictable margin. When was the last time anyone paid $50 for a HDD of mainstream market sufficient/standard capacity? A HDD fitting this class is always $100. Even SSD models have been crippled down so that you end up paying $100/ea/yr on average.

Any advice?
I noticed that the price of the E2414H has gone up $10. It's now 129.99.
I bought a U2312H over 3 years ago for $189, and it seems almost as good as the current crop for the same price.
the E2414H have an estimated ship date of Dec 15th. (bought for friend)
the U2414H Dec 18th as you said. (bought for me)
guess it'll be a surprise just before xmas or in the new year.
Guess I'm not buying that. Just needed a cheap computer for someone to browse the web (require optical drive).

Ok I found one with a matching price but it's clearly non-touchscreen. wtf
This was advised incorrectly is a Non-Touch Laptop and on the redflag page it says:
