Dell Ultrasharp U2412 24" 1920x1200 IPS Monitor $260.12 after coupon (Hot!)

Dell Ultrasharp U2412 24
This deal has expired! This deal has expired!

We've got a hot one here! The popular Dell Ultrasharp U2412 24" 1920x1200 IPS Monitor can be had for $260.12 right now when you use RedFlagDeals.com exclusive coupon code LKKZ$VV?T6QHW2 (good for 10% off most systems and electronics and accessories items purchased in the Small Business store).

It's a great price for this monitor. The U2412M uses an IPS panel that provides better colour reproduction and viewing angles in comparison to TN panels you find in most monitors on the market. Check out TFTCentral's review of the monitor for more. They were impressed with the display's contrast ratio, pixel responsiveness and input lag. It features a 4-port USB 2.0 hub, a height-adjustable stand, tilt, swivel, pivot, and built in cable-management. Note that it doesn't have an HDMI port, but does have Displayport and DVI.

Grab it while you can -- our coupon code expires July 10! Shipping is free.

    • Anyone know how the scaling performance is? Does it scale well to 1080p, if i want to use it as a with my other 2 1080p monitors for 3x1080p eyefinity?

    • I am still on the fence for getting this one or U2312.
I understand some people may need the 16:10 ratio, but for most user, the almost $70 difference is a bit too much for just that 1"?

since people are quoting on me, I will make a change to correct myself.
The lowest I saw was $189 for the U2312.

Where do you get a $100 difference from?

    • This is the lowest price to date if I'm not mistaken (or really close, at least). Get it while you can!

The lowest price was $249 this February during a DoD.

Can you share where you see U2312 for $160?

      Thx!

    • ok, tempted to pick up 2 of these. Can someone tell me if this is one of those good IPS panels? I have never purchased one before and have always read that TN panels give the colour changes when you change your angle of view. Would the IPS be better for this?

I'm using 2 of these right now from last DoD. Replaced my 2 23" TN. I can't go back to TN. The difference is very noticeable..

Replaced my 23" U2311 16:9 monitor with two of these. They're roughly the same width but with an inch-ish more vertical height. It is noticeable. When you first use them, they also appear to be a lot more square.

      Judge for yourself: http://www.displaywars.com/23-inch-1...-24-inch-16x10

      And this: http://www.erodov.com/forums/cpva-coming/22582.html
      if you scroll down, there is a comparison with a 23" 1080P and a 24" 1200P

In terms of this monitor, I can vouch for it, it is a good monitor, although I am do not need the full Adobe RBG as photo/video editing is only a side job atm to pay for university. If you want full Adobe RBG, you might want to look at the U2410 instead.

After looking at this chart, I firmly believe that $70 more is well worth it for a 16:10 screen over 16:9.

    • Good deal! Bought my 1st one at $250 then the 2nd at $270. This falls right in the range. Very tempting to get my 3rd one to do Eyefinity. So tempting...

It's an LED panel, GL2750HM (with a flimsy non-HAS but who cares).
