Dell Spring Sale: Bell Grab & Go Internet Kit $9.99, U2212HM IPS LCD $189.99 & More
This deal has expired!
Dell has a new Spring Sale for the week with some offers of note. The sale is on through March 30 (6AM ET). Let's take a look!
- Bell Grab and Go Internet Kit - $9.99
- Dell UltraSharp U2212HM 21.5-inch Widescreen Monitor - $189.99
- Dell UltraSharp U2412M 24-inch Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor - $299.99
- Targus Curve Backpack - Fits Laptops with Screen Sizes Up to 16-inch - Black/Platinum - $29.99
The Grab & Go Internet Kit has been covered a lot before, but here's a recap if you aren't familiar with the product: new customers in Ontario and Quebec get 4 3 months of Bell Internet service (the exact service you can receive will depend on availability in your area) and you do not have to enter a contract. The kit contains an activation code and you call Bell to set things up, including an appoint with a technician for installation and to receive a modem. The promotion has been changed from 4 months to 3 months of service, but that's still a good deal for $9.99.
The Ultrasharp U2212 and U2412 are also worth checking out. $189.99 and $299.99 aren't their all time lowest prices, but these prices are very competitive when you compare them to other IPS monitors options on the market. Remember, Ultrasharp monitors have some nice perks like stands with heigh, pivot, and rotation adjustment and built in USB hubs.

Still a good deal if you cancel before your 4th month starts. But there are those that would say dealing with Bell makes this very cold.
I remember last time it was an installation charge for Fibe25 but some people were talking about it being free ??????????????????????
I am in Quebec
not that I had the same grab/go kit, but so many other issues with bell customer service.
If you have the patience to deal with them, you can get a good deal, which they offered me 2 months free and no installation fee for the issues they caused themselves.
Anyways, good deal on the kit, but you need to think twice to either deal with them or cancel the subs just before the 3rd month ends.
I noticed the max was Fibe 16 too. Someone in another thread suggested that was the fastest available for self-install and I was thinking of getting that (when I thought I could get Fibe 25 on a they-install).
=aw
When I called to activate mine (haven't actually had the install yet and will need to push it back a month again since I still don't have the house yet) they said the offer only applied to the 16. I bought this 3+ months ago or so now and I seriously couldn't remember if 16 was the best I could get. Either way I think it's still worth it. Not like you have a contract anyway. People previously reported within a 5 minute call they would be able to get a one year price for $32-40/month for the 25 and no contract as well.
I am skeptical and worried about Bell for this reason as well. I wonder how it was possible for any usage to take place when the modem is off. Don't these modems still connect using that login type method and thus you'd show as offline on the system? Weird...
However I found out I have to pay $34 for activation!
I had a understanding I do not have to pay no activation or installation or Modem fee!
3months vs 4 months
up to Fibe 16
and I see "extra $49.95 fee may apply to customers in certain areas"
Can i take the grab and go and still have the rebate for the other services and the following 3 months?
