Dell Electronics Blowout Sale: 8GB Class 10 SDHC $8, 500GB Portable External Hard Drive $85 + More

Dell Electronics Blowout Sale Until April 29
This deal has expired! This deal has expired!

Dell is back with another Electronics Sale. There are some decent deals worth checking out like this 27" Ultra Sharp U2711 Monitor that features up to 560 x 1440 WQHD resolution with PremierColor. Even though the price has come down from $999 to $749, it's probably still steep for most buyers but if you're in the market for a high-quality and a high-performing monitor for gaming and video streaming and you have extra money or expecting a nice tax return, this Dell U2711 Monitor might be worth investing.

Some other highlights from the Electronics Blowout Sale include:

The sale ends April 29. As usual, Dell offers free shipping.

    • They are still trying to hock those Coby tabs - LOL.

I have seen them for as little as $89. They must be worse than I think they are.

The WNR3400 is a fast ethernet 10/100 only switch and half the RAM vs WNR3500Lv2 though
      Not compatible with Tomato

i'm not going to tweak with Tomato or DD-WRT i don't have the knowledge or the time to learn or [please don't shoot me] see the need for it considering what I do... good point though, my primary desktop is running gigabit

      decisions, decisions

I'll probably just stick with the one I have... thanks though!

I have always liked Denon... Look for a cheap one, you don't need much to drive these little speakers.

    • I've been doing a bit of research on thes, and they are not for a serious setup, maybe a secondary. According to avsforums, they sound like crap for music, and their 'retail price' is horribly high. They will sound good, but the sub can be 'slappy', and kinda weak. These compared 'ok' to energy Take 5's, but if you are serious about sound at a good price, try the Infinity primus series of speakers, with a cheap BIC F12 or VK-1220 subwoofer... Polk is ok too, but I prefer Infinity. For sound, once you have heard better, it's hard to listen to lower systems.

This might help anyone looking into these

If you can afford it, go for Infinity Primus. Sorry to bring up another brand, but I love them this much LOL

They go on sale at Best Buy Canada often, and can be readily found in the States at Fry's or Electronics Expo. Up to you, but your ears will thank you.

    • Anyone have experience with the Sony PRS eReader: http://accessories.dell.com/sna/prod...&sku=A 5464272 or eReaders in general? In the market for one but have no clue what's good for the canadian e-bookstore market
I've got one (purchased for $94.99) a few months ago) but I preferred my Kobo Touch That my mother-in-law ran off with after Christmas. I prefer to turn pages by a single "touch" as opposed to the "swipe" required with the PRS-T1

    • I've noticed that Dell seems to disabled their ratings & user reviews--I wonder why? But I do see the reviews (and can enter reviews) on their "Business Deals" page. Hmmm....I wonder if they've been spammed with too many fake comments?
