- About to get mad that the 15r SE was cheaper than Friday when I bought it until I looked at the specs. Fridays had faster CPU and more ram plus 1080p (as opposed to 720p), new one is pretty pale in comparison to be honest. They even used the same photo and forgot to remove where it lists it as 1080p since under the stats it lists 720p, silly dell.

  To be fair, that assessment was based partly on the $649 Inspiron 15R SE listing with a 1080p display for a while. Still, $299 for an Intel + Win 8 laptop? I do consider that good.

- Yeah, ordered 2 of the kit, I think cheapest that I've seen.
  Was about to order, then realized it's 500Mbps between the devices, but the output is limited to the ethernet port being 100Mpbs... so, terrible for HD streaming. I did a direct ethernet cable 100Mpbs and gigabit (1000Mpbs), and 1080p movies worked properly only on Gigabit. From my understanding, they're just clearing the inventory for the better devices coming up.. might be worth it to wait for those, depending on your needs...

- That's the best price I've ever seen for powerline ethernet adapters. Don't hesitate, buy!
  
  FYI, the ever-increasing speed of these adapters is more hype than reality. The nominal speed doubles with each generation, but the actual throughput goes up by maybe 20%. You would be very lucky to achieve an actual throughput that would max out a 100 mbps ethernet port with these adapters, so it's not a concern.
