The Vostro 3560 is a good all-around laptop for the $599 price. You wouldn't normally see a Radeon 7670 video card at this price point, which makes it a nice option if you want a laptop that can handle some occasional gaming.

    • Horrible experience with Dell Notebook. I am not going to suggest this to any friend. Guy you will get lots of option in this price, don't go for Dell. I have horrible experience like Webcam issue, system gets over heated, gets freeze upon using 2-3 apps,, count is still on....

    • My Dell Vostro is still going strong after 4 years of 24/7 use.

      My 2 year Acer laptop already has a dead DVD drive. My 6 month old Gateway laptop kept freezing until I removed all the junk software they bundled with it.

      My wife's MacBook Pro died from heat damage. My son's LG laptop freezes after a couple hours from overheating.

      You can't dismiss a whole brand from an isolated experience. Dell sells millions and millions of laptops.

    • Just bought one of these (our 3rd Dell) with an upgrade to Windows 7 and it's a really nice laptop.

      Highly recommend, can't find an i3 for this price really - pretty sweet.
