Costco

Costco: Swiss Gear Digital Camera Travel Sling Bag $19.97

Costco: Swiss Gear Digital Camera Travel Sling Bag
This deal has expired! This deal has expired!

Here's a very good deal on a camera sling bad new digital SLR owners might want to check out. Some forum members have pointed out Costco has the popular Swiss Gear Digital Camera Travel Sling Bag currently on sale for $19.97. Though the website price shows $43.99, at least for us in Ontario, the store price could be different which makes it a pretty hot deal. If you don't like the design of typical bags, this could be one to consider.

More information can be found in the thread here but this bag, from our own experience, is decent for those with a smaller sized camera body and a few lenses. It's not going to hold a bunch of telephoto lenses, but it should be large enough to house a few mid-sized lenses and some accessories. Some of its notable features include:

  • Customized padded and adjustable main compartment with lateral access
  • Bottom panel made of highly resistant material
  • Mesh padded back design
  • Microfibre cloth to protect against scratches
  • Removable memory card pocket
  • Accessory zip pocket on the front
  • Internal compartment with removable dividers

Being a sling bag, you'll always have easy access to your camera so you'll be quick on the draw to get those spontaneous shots.

We're not sure when the deal will end, or if this is even nation-wide, so you'll want to call and confirm this deal with your local Costco.

    • 2 weeks ago it was $29.97.

I'll try and get a price difference credit. But, I'm told the location has to have the product in stock for the price diff. credit.

    • I have this bag - it's pretty decent. I use it for my Sony NEX-5N with some small accessories/lenses. I also store my other electronics in this while traveling.

    • Good thing I did a search before I posted this deal. Great price for a great bag. The Swiss Gear one is discontinued and has been replaced by one by "National Geographic" for $33.99. Ya apparently, they don't just sell magazines anymore. The bag itself looks very similar but the Swiss colours are nicer.

    • i've had this bag for 2 years now... holds my XTi, the 18-55, a 50mm and a 10-22 with no issues. The sling part is kind of annoying though.... it's not good for throwing over your shoulder, you have to actually wrap it around you.

Bah i should move down to south Edmonton... every time there's a good deal on anything and anywhere in the north side, the stores are picked clean by hoarders
