  Probably because it lacks the ability to run native (x86) Windows apps. That makes a huge difference for those who have invested in the Windows platform. Otherwise, why not get an Android or iPad?
  
  I installed Windows 8 on a VM and poked around the Windows marketplace for a few hours. Didn't see much compared to iOS/Android.
