Canon 8MP A580 Camera $99, Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 USB Headset $20...
This deal has expired! This deal has expired!
Until the end of tomorrow, Staples.ca has the Canon Powershot A580 digital camera with 8MP resolution, 4x optical zoom, and a 2.5" LCD for only $98.82. That's under $100 for Canon camera quality and this model uses easy to find and low cost AA rechargeable batteries as well. Reviews are very positive, on Amazon.com it has a 4.5/5 rating based on 30 customer reviews.

Two more accessories worth a look are the Brother PT-80 electronic labeller for $9.86 after a $20 easy rebate and the Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 USB headset for $19.99. USB headsets are typically more expensive than ones with 3.5mm jacks and it's the cheapest we've seen for this particular model.

    • How can you tell how many products in each district?
Also, how is the battery life on this camera?

      Thanks,

Update your postal code, then try ordering 500.

It will then show you how many are available.

    • Seems like a great entry level camera just too bulky for my taste, hate having to carry around a camera all day would rather slip it into my pocket. Any good deals on a slim camera?

    • 2 x AA batteries can only go so far . It's a great little camera but make sure you pack a lot of rechargeables. And make them at least 2700mAh ones!

    • I was looking for a nice entry camera and this looks pretty hot. But i was wondering if i should get the 720IS for a hundred more or get this camera. Just checking if buying the 720IS for 100 more is worth it.

You are going to give up IS (image stabilization) so you get 1 more Megapixel and pay $10 extra on top of that? IMO keep the 570 IS. The 580 does not have image stabilization.

This is a tough one since the 720IS has 6x zoom and IS. So it depends on if you need the extra zoom (some people don't) and whether you need IS (good to have if you have the shakes and your pictures turn out blurry because your hand isn't very steady). Mind you IS does not fix blur when the object is moving.
