BestBuy.ca is holding a 40-hour Online Only Sale right now until August 4th at 10AM EST. There's quite a wide range of products on sale but unlike previous sales, there aren't many across the board category discounts. Discounts are also not available for items advertised in the flyer. That being said, there's still definitely some good deals to be had including the following: Add the items to your cart in order to see the discounted price. Their free shipping promotion on orders over $39 can be combined with this online only sale as well.

    • Note that it says "select" instead of "all" for every item on there. I wouldn't be surprised if some things (like PSN cards) are not included. Otherwise I'll be buying myself a nice deck of PSN cards

    • Keep in mind when pre-ordering games and such the official BB policy says:

      "We usually receive the product, and ship pre-orders to customers 2-3 days after the release date." Reference

      So if you're looking to get a game or movie on day one, this isn't a viable option.

      preorder it and then go to the B&M store and buy it day one then return the one they ship you to the store on your original purchases receipt

      The Online-only sale says "includes in-store pickup", so technically the sale should still work, no?

      Edit: My bad, I tried it and you can't "pick up" online items that aren't available online. Why would they even let you add to the cart???

      Actually it does let you add to cart, it just won't let you checkout (unless I'm missing something).

      Not much of a sale. If you're buying big ticket items or packages they are allowed to go a little lower than they are normally allowed to. If you're buying small items forgot about any deals.

    • Oddly enough, adding a 50$ PSN Card to your basket marks it down to 40$. If anyone can find how to actually check out with it, let me know!
